| MICHIGAMME - May 9-John Devins died unexpectedly at his home here this morning. He was born Sept. 10, 1881 in Black Brook, N.Y., and had lived in Michigamme 63 years. Survivors are his wife, Hadgina; two daughters, Mrs. Edward Homier, L'Anse, and Mrs William Pellow, Ishpeming; five sisters, Mary and Lyla, Michigamme; Mrs. Agnes Clement, Marquette; Mrs, Elizabeth Byer, Manistique; Mrs, Genevieve Nault, Green Bay, Wis., and four grandchildren. The body was taken to the Beale funeral home. |
| MICHIGAMME, May 10 - Funeral services for John Devins, 68, who died Tuesday, will be held at 9 Friday morning at St Agnes church with the Rev. Oliver O'Callaghan officiating. Burial will be made in Lakeview cemetery. Pallbearers will be Peter Cevigney, Otto Frisk, Albert Paquette, Bert Backes, Ronald Dishnow and Paul Paquette. The body was removed from the Beale funeral home to the family residence last night. |
