| MICHIGAMME - Alexina DeMolen, 96, of Michigamme, died Saturday at the Gateway Nursing Home in Hartford, Wis., where she had been a patient for three years. Born May 20, 1882, in Canada, she came to this country at age five. She lived in Baraga for 60 years and in Michigamme for 30 years. She was a member of the St. Agnes Catholic Church in Michigamme. Surviving are a son, Raymond of Dearborn; two daughters, Florence Morandi of Florida and Pearl Bakke of Hartford, Wis.; two sisters, Cora LaCosse of Negaunee and Agnes Sutherby of Washington; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesdatyat the St. Agnes Church with Rev. Henry Gelin officiating. Burial will be in the Lakeview Cemetery in Michigamme. Friends may call at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming from 6 to 9 p.m. today and at the church Tuedsay from 9 a.m. until time of services. Liturgical services will be conducted at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. |
