| FORT EDWARD, N.Y. - Former area resident Andrew W. Annala, 68, of fort Edward, N.Y., died July 3 at home. Born Nov. 1 1923, in Palmer to August and Sanna (Laukhonen) Annala, he was raised in the Gwinn area. Following service in the Navy during World War II, he moved to the Fort Edward area. He retired from the General Electric Co. Surviving are a son, John of Fort Edward; two daughters, Cindy Doran of Hudson Falls, N.Y. and Barbara Siglin of Jacksonville, Fla.; five sisters, Anna Dennis and Sanna Warmanen, both of Ypsilanti, Bertha Saari of Negaunee, Elsie Herrala of Palmer and Ruth Suobank of Arkansas; four grandchildren; an aunt; and serveral nieces, nephews and cousins. Services were in Fort Edward. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery in Castleton Va. |
