Getting Here and Where to Stay
Lake Tahoe straddles the Nevada-California border. The nearest airport is Reno, about a 40 minute drive to the East of the lake. The Reno-Tahoe Airport is a full service airport with most major carriers and rental car services. We have visited most of the lodging alternatives near the wedding ceremony/reception location on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Below, we have provided links to the web-sites of our favorite lodging properties. If you have any questions about these businesses, please click the e-mail button on the home page. We would be happy to answer your questions and make suggestions.

Getting Here:
The wedding/reception will be heald at a private house called "Blue Paradise" . It's located between Tahoe City and Kings Beach, on The North Shore of Lake Tahoe. From Reno, the easiest way to get there is to take I-80 west out of Reno, to Truckee. In Truckee you'll take the "Squaw Valley/Hwy 89" exit toward Tahoe City. Once in Tahoe City, head east (left) on Hwy 28 toward Kings Beach. Blue Paradise will be on your right, in a community called Tahoe Vista. The house is the next thing past the Chinquapin resort (this is your best landmark). Below you will find links to Yahoo maps as well as links to flight information, rental car info, and more.
