Back I was one of 23 lucky New Zealand divers to be invited by the Fiji Visitor's Bureau and the Fiji Dive Operator's Association to travel to the beautiful Fiji Islands. The idea was for us to sample the wonderful diving and accommodation that the Island group are world famous for.
The pages that follow are a photo album of that trip. I apologise that they are not captioned, but good things take time! The trip for me was in May 2000 and started in Nadi, traveling around the Coral Coast, which is the South side of Viti Levu (the main Island). My group of 5 plus a guide stopped in at Hideaway Resort for lunch, Crusoe's Retreat, Pacific Harbour Centra, The Royal Hotel in Levuka, the magnificent and romantic Toberua Island Resort and finally at Sonaisali Island Resort for the final night's party!
We dived with Aquatrek Beqa Lagoon, Ovalau Watersports as well as operators from the resorts.
