Blessed Event

It was a sunny day, April 9,1999 while all people were celebrating the "Araw ng Kagitingan" a mother gave birth to her fourth child who is healthy and jolly baby girl in St. Vincent Hospital. The baby was named Rencynt (Me).My name sounds unique because it is the combination of my parents' name; Rene and Cynthia.

My father is a security guard and my mother is a housewife. I have three siblings namely Kristina Cassandra, Abe Glenn, and Reynaldo. My sister Kristina Cassandra is the eldest . She is 21 years old. She just graduated in college last summer in University of the Philippines. The second is my brother, Abe Glenn, he is 20 years old. Now, he is continuing his studies in Polytechnic University of the Philippines and taking the course of civil engineering. The third is my another brother Reynaldo, he just graduated in high school last year here at Sta. Elena High School an now he is studying computer engineering also in Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

When I was a child, we lived at Quezon City but because of some reasons, my parents decided to stay here in Marikina City.

Early Days

When I was a child, I was so playful kid that I used to play all day with my cousins and friends. As what my mother said, I was an independent, humble and generous type of child. She said that I am independent because whenever my mother needs to go somewhere, I'm not the kind of kid that will cry and cry until I get tired instead it's okay for me to stay alone in our house and I can do the household chores all by myself without the help of someone. I'm also generous, I let my friends borrow my toys if they want to, and I'm also humble to them and to my siblings. As I remember, I'm always crying when I was a child because my siblings always tease me and let me to do all the household chores. And the most unforgettable moment for me was, when my mother taught me how to read and I can't read the words and pronounce it well so she spanks me everytime I had mistakes but I thought, because of that I learned to read in the proper way.

Memerable Beginnings

I started going to school at the age of 5. My mother enrolled me in preparatory at Malanday Learning Center. At first I had a hard time making friends with others and I can consider my self as a loner. I don't want to talk with them because I think talking to them is so senseless. I can remember that every time we have our p.e. class they always refuse to choose me as their partner so I always left behind. Maybe that's the reason why I grew up being independent and I'm not used to ask the help of others. My preparatory days are really miserable for me but because of that I really worked hard to be on the top of the class and successfully I achieved my goal. I was in the top 5 when I graduated from prep and I was awarded as the best in filipino subject. My mother was really happy for what I had received and she's really proud of me because she knows that it was my own hardworks. I remember, that time was the funeral of my grandfather so my mother was not able to teach and guide me in my studies.

When I entered grade one in Malanday Elementary School, at first it was not easy for me. My teacher put me in section three but after few days they tested some students who can read an english article fluently. Fortunately, they chose me and I've read the article smoothly. So they decided to put me in section one and I really thank my mom for teaching me how to read.

I'm really thankful because I am always in section one and I also in the top in our class for six years.

Teeny bopper

In 2011, I graduated from elementary and became a high school fresh man in Sta. Elena High School then I took the ESEP curriculum. In my first 2 years being an ESEP, I can say that the most unforgettable moments that I had is being with my classmates and friends. I had the same faces of classmates in two years and we are only 30 in the class so we really get to bond to each other. I can consider our sections ESEP I and II A as my second family. But among the two sections, for me our 2nd year in high school was better because in that year we all know that after the year ends, some of us will be transfer in the regular class so we cherish all the moments that we had. And now this is my 3rd year in ESEP class, some teachers called as "the survivors" because we're still here but for me it is God's will and this is his plan for us. So I'll just do what I can and study harder.
