As I mentioned before, karaoke is one
of my many hobbies. Although I do not have the voice of a siren, I like
karaoke, because it can relieve stress. You should try it. If you do not
like it, I do not blame you. My husband hates it too, although I think his
voice is not bad at all.

Do you see what is on the
table? That’s right, food… hamburgers, hotdogs, fries… Those are leftovers
from our café. Erick, Lielin, Sanny and I opened a café every Sunday
morning in Erick’s front yard. Unfortunately, it did not make us rich. But
we were still happy, because we ended up with plenty of food to eat. As you read before, I eat … a lot …

Even though we had no luck with the café, we did not give up
to try making some money (to pay for the karaoke…). Before Christmas 1998,
we made Christmas gift basket. This time we tried not to eat the food. That
was the last thing we did together, before I came to the US on January
1999.
