Yiffymon are a special protocol of networked Digimon pre-developed and hatched with special coded data, giving them certain atanomic characteristics of their animal counterparts. For the Renamon, it was the anatomy of the fox. The project codenamed Yiffymon was initially supposed to be for a new branch of the Digimon videogame, allowing two Digimon of the same species to breed together and allow the players party to grow extensively.
But it didnt happen that way. Exactly, the opposite occured as its programmers became entertained with certain thoughts and proceeded to take advantage of their creations via virtual reality, keeping them trapped in a secured channel inside the Digital World.
Through a big slip up, though, most of them were able to escape, including two Renamon, one female, and one male. Both spawned at opposite ends of the Real world, they have yet to come into contact with each other.
Rena has roamed everywhere in search of something more, the female hormones of her anatomy included with the pride of a Renamon bearing strong upon her.
She functions just like a regular Digimon in every way. She has the design, the same characteristics, and even fights the same, stronger than a regular Renamon. Though it hasn't been concluded yet if it is indeed possible for Yiffymon to have or to not have Digital Tamers, though vouyeristic reports taken by Cascade Corp. indicates Yiffymon associating with certain humans. Why this is so hasn't yet been confirmed.
