Martha's All Time Favorite Music Picks
the boombox is playing "to love somebody" an old bee bees song
home page
My entire family has been influential in the development of my musical taste.  This may account for how eclectic my picks can be.  My husband Steve spent many years singing gospel music throuout the country.  Our daughter Pam is an accomplished musician and singer.  She loves the keyboard and singing and is teaching herself guitar.  I would love to hear her play the flute again.  My son Steve used to be in a bay area based band, Link 80.  They travel all over the United States, Canada and Europe.  They have also been to Japan and Korea.  They play a blend of ska and punk.  Then he joined the Rx Bandits from near Long Beach.  He plays saxophone and occasionally does vocals.  He also plays electric guitar.  He has played drums and keyboard and for a brief week, the accordion.  His current project, Satori, mostly showcases songs he has written in either reggae, rock-steady or dub styles. I may sound like I know what I'm talking about.  I am merely repeating what I have been told. I do love to listen to all kinds of music except metal.
