Walk Through

I was walking through the park when
I saw the starlight sky,
The trees were so perfect,
There was nothing out of place,
Play grounds were quiet,
There were no sounds to hear,
No faces too clear.
The first and final distraction,
I have saved for the last.
She was a demon of charm,
A miscrient in her mothers arms.
I only saw her once,
She was pale to the last,
And she talked very fast,
I sat down on the bench on the
Left hand side.
In me she did confide.
I tried to forget just what I had seen,
I tried as I may to forget where I'd been
A child of the forest,
An innocent at best,
I took my chance to pass the test.
As I walked out of the park,
With no memory at all
I payed for my sins I had committed in the past.
For this so called distraction,
I had left till the last
