Sacred History, Sacred Times
The Purpose, Plan, and Completion
of the Creator's Set Times

A chronology of the Adamic race, wedding the
reliability of the ancient Hebrew prophet-historians
with the precision of the ancient Mayan day-counters, thereby restoring God's original sacred calendar.
Last updated July14, 2003.  This page is now redundant, but kept for those who still have the address. See new material at Index.
This page is an information  source for the book of the same name, as well as its companion volume, The Seven Times and the Latter Days. These books together reveal the true chronology of the Adamic race, and provide a great deal of information about the biblical and other "time prophecies"; e.g., the 7 times, the 31/2 times/1260 days, the Millenium, and others. Inquiries may be directed to:   [email protected].

Chapter 6   The Apocalypse of ... Esther ??
[To understand the following, you need to know that the ancient biblical 'time prophecies' all primarily used the       archetypal 360-day year.  The 7 times prophecy of Leviticus 26 applied this period in the method of "a day for a          year."  (See Numbers14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6.)  Therefore, 7 times = 7 x 360 years = 2520 years.  In our current 365.2422-day calendar, these 2520  360-day years are equivalent to just under 2484 (solar) years.]
The Chronology of Esther
All major events in Esther are carefully dated. As with all biblical datings, this chronology was recorded for a specific purpose by an author writing under the Spirit of inspiration. Much about the timetable of latter-day events is revealed in the Esther chronology.
In earlier chapters, the "yardstick of time" of the covenant peoples -- 7 times, equalling nearly 2484 solar years -- was shown to apply to many different situations. That is partly because the seven times was the length of a curse on these covenant peoples:  because the curse was not applied all at once, neither will its lifting take place all at once. The book of Esther concerns the Israelite/covenant people, so the seven times' prophecy applies to its history also.
Here, then, are the approximate dates, both ancient and their modern-day fulfillments.  (There is a slight problem in dating the years of Ahasuerus's rule, for it is not known for certain whether the count of his regnal years commenced in the Spring [Nisan] or in the Autumn [Tishri]. Therefore, some events below show different possible dates.)
Esther's Days       + 2520 sacred years (2484 solar years)  =        Latter Days
November, 486 BC    Ahasuerus/Xerxes ascended the throne.
"In the beginning of his reign" = probably in 485 BC, adversaries of the Jews "wrote...[unto the king] an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem." Ezra 4:6  Ahasuerus, dealing with other revolts in the Empire, allowed Judah's adversaries to sack Jerusalem, burn the Temple, and kill and enslave many Jews throughout the land.
(See f.n. below.) The Jews were accused because they had anointed a king over them, in defiance of the Empire.

3rd year (and the 180 days??) began in the Spring or Autumn of 483    "[K]ing Ahasuerus
sat on the throne of  his kingdom... In [his] third year...he made a feast unto all his princes and his servants...[and] nobles... [H]e showed [them] the riches of his glorious kingdom and the honor of his excellent majesty...[for] 180 days."  Esther 1:2-4

Within Autumn 483 - early 481  Queen Vashti is deposed, six months after sometime in the  king's third year.  1:5f.

Ca. Dec. 480 - Jan. 479    The beginning of a year-long purification program for Esther, in the sixth year of the king, tenth month/Tebeth.  2:12, 16

   Ca. December 479 - January 478
Esther appears before the king, and is made queen; seventh year, month of Tebeth. 2:16

Spring 474  or  Spring 473    Haman and his ministers cast lots to set the destruction date of the Jews; twelfth year, first month/Nisan.   3:7

Late Spring 474  or  late Spring 473    Mordecai is exalted in Haman's stead before the king; twelfth year, third month/Sivan.   8:9

Late Winter 473  or  late Winter 472    In the twelfth month/Adar, Jews rise up and destroy those who would have destroyed them; probably the twelfth, but possibly the thirteenth year.   8:9
Late 1999 - 2000 AD   On Sept. 4, 1999, the Israeli and Palestinian states signed an agreement that committed both sides to a Final Status resolution of their issues by Sept. 2000. Chief among the disputes was that both claimed sovereignty over Jerusalem. Talks failed, and on Sept. 28, 2000, a violent conflict began on Jerusalem's Temple Mount. Unlike the conflict of 7 times' earlier, in this one the Jews had the upper hand. As of August 2001, they'd inflicted far more casualties than suffered, and had strengthened their control over Jerusalem and all of the land.

2002 or 2003 AD  (on Pentecost?)    "And immediately I was in the Spirit: and, behold, one
sat on the throne. ... And round about the throne were ... 24 elders sitting, clothed in white raiment;  and they had on their heads crowns of gold. ... Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power..."  Revelation 4:2, 4, 11

Within late 2002 - early 2004   Mystery Babylon, the false church, is cast down from her glory.
Luke 14:24

Late 2005 or in 2006    The beginning of a year of "washing" (through tribulation?) to cleanse the church.  Rev. 7:14;  Daniel 12:10

   Late 2006 or in 2007
The Church stands before the throne in heaven, "clothed with white robes."   Rev. 7:9, 15

Ca. early ?  2011  or  early ?  2012    The "principalities and powers" in the spirit world and on Earth plan and set the destruction of blood-Israel and the remaining Christians.  Rev. 13:15;  Ephesians  6:12

Ca. Spring ?  2011 or  Spring ?  2012    The 144,000 Israelites ascend to heaven to stand before the Lord's throne.   Rev. 14:1f.

Ca. Winter ?  2011-12  or  Winter ?  2012-13    "[T]he remnant of Jacob shall be among the Gentiles...as a young lion among the flocks of sheep...  Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thine adversaries, and all thine enemies shall be cut off."   Micah 5:8-9
footnote:  It is known that at the accession of Ahasuerus to the throne, Egypt and Babylon revolted, and within a few years they were subdued with great force by the new king. The Jewish scholar Julian Morgenstern, in the Hebrew Union College Annual (1956), 101-79, and (1957) 15-47, asserts that the Jews in Israel also rebelled at this time.

Due to space limitations, I can't show the evidence which backs up the information above.  Suffice it to say that Sacred History, Sacred Times and  The Seven Times and the Latter Days provide 20+ applications of the 7 times prophecy "yardstick," which link events of biblical history prior to the period of Esther directly to Latter Day events. All of these Latter Day fulfillments occurred within the 360-day year that came 7 times after the corresponding event's year in biblical history.  The same will be true for the Latter Day times shown above.   Please copy and share this page.
