The Six-Day War against Israel by Egypt, Jordan, and Syria took place. On June 7, the Jews recaptured the Temple Mount and the Old City of Jerusalem. This occurred 70 sacred years after the First Zionist Congress in 1897 AD/5963 AM.

Seven times earlier, the Jews began to rebuild the Temple after God so commanded by the prophet Haggai in August or September 519 BC / late 3512 AM. It had been 70 sacred years since the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple by the Babylonians in August 588 BC / late 3442 AM. In December or January 519-18 BC/early 3443 AM, God promised to begin again to bless the people. Hag. 2:10-19  This was 70 sacred years after the last remnant of the Jews had left Judah to go to Egypt in November or December 588 BC/3443AM.

On Sept. 4, 1999, the Israeli and Palestinian governments signed an agreement that com-mitted both sides to a Final Status resolution of their issues by Sept. 2000. Chief among the disputes was that both claimed sovereignty over Jerusalem. Talks failed, and on Sept. 28, 2000, a violent conflict erupted on Jerusalem's Temple Mount. In this bitter conflict, the Jews have had the upper hand. They had inflicted far more casualties than suffered, and strengthened their control over Jerusalem and all of the land.

Seven times earlier, "in the beginning of [the] reign" of Xerxes/Ahasuerus, adversaries of the Jews "wrote. . .[unto the king] an accusation against the inhabitants of Judah and Jerusalem." Ezra 4:6 Ahasuerus, dealing with other revolts in the Empire, sent Judah's adver-saries to sack Jerusalem, burn the Temple, and kill and enslave Jews throughout the land. The Jews were accused because they had anointed a king over them, in defiance of the Empire.3

Completion of 70 years of Day 6: apparently a time of  coming out/going to (someplace). See Appendix H for 70, 2070, 4070, and 6070 AM.
    Right about
7 times before this year, the queen of the Persian Empire was deposed by Ahasuerus. (The exact date is obscure.) It was also right about this time, 483-82 BC/3550 AM, that Babylon fell and was ruthlessly plundered. [Both fulfilled: see Esther link below.]

Seven times before these two years, the virgin Esther was taken in and prepared (early 479 BC/3552 AM) and then chosen (late 479 or early 478 BC/3553 AM) as queen. See those dates in Book 1, esp. the references in the historical Details column.

[Re: the dates from 1999 - 2011 AD, also see  The Apocalypse of ... Esther??]

Seven times earlier, in April 474 BC/3558 AM, Haman the Agagite (Amalekite) planned
a pogrom to kill all of the Jews in the Empire, and set a date. Because of the intervention of Esther the queen, Haman was soon after hanged. He was replaced by Mordecai the "Jew" (Benjamite). In March 473 BC/just into 3559 AM, the Jews rose up and destroyed those who would have destroyed them. See the latter-day prophecy of Micah 5:8-9
Although the story of Esther always refers to her people as Jews, it concerned all of
Israel's remnants living in the far-flung Persian Empire, and it never mentions Judah or Jerusalem. Other 252-year multiples of this cycle most often relate to judgments concerning the kingdom and/or all of the people of Israel. The years 1763 AD/5862 AM (establishment of neo-Israel); 722 BC/3306 AM (fall of the Kingdom of Israel); 974 BC/3054 AM (Israel routed by Judah); and 1730 BC/2298 AM (Joseph's rule over Egypt: compare Mordecai over Persia) all relate to judgments upon the peoples of Israel in whole or in part.

Seven times before this year, Ezra received his commission from the king, and returned to Judah to establish the Law of Moses in the land. See Book 1, 457 BC.

Seven times before this year, Nehemiah received his commission from the king, and returned to Jerusalem to rebuild it. See Book 1, 444 BC.

    This year apparently comes
7 times = 10 x 252 sacred years after the last event in the Tanach (Old Testament), when Nehemiah suddenly and unexpectedly returned to Jeru-salem to purge the city and the Temple of the sins committed therein. See 428 BC/3605 AM; Malachi 3:1b-5ff.:

[T]he Lord whom ye seek shall suddenly come to his Temple. . .and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.  . . . And I will some near to you to judgment. . .

    This year also comes 8 x 252 =
2016 sacred years after the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 AD/4109 AM; and 16 x 252 = 4032 sacred years after the Battle of Nations in 1935 BC/2093 AM, at which time Jerusalem (Salem) is first mentioned in the Scriptures. Gen. 14:1f., 18
