| Appendix R (selected excerpts) The Restorations of Both Israel and Judah after 7 Times |
| (From the book Sacred History, Sacred Times; copyright 2001. These pages may be copied if this notice is included on every page.) R1 Leviticus 26:3-45 is a prophecy written by Moses to the Israelites. It contains both a blessing and a curse. In the blessing, God promised the Israelites that if they remained faithful to him and his commandments, he would multiply the harvests of their fields, and would give them peace in their lands and power over their enemies; and the Lord himself would walk among them. In the curse, however, God promised that if the Israelites forsook him and his commandments, he would set his face against them, destroy their harvests, and give them over to sickness, sorrow, death, and the hands of their enemies. This punishment was to be progressive. After the initial description of the punishment, each successive wave of woes is prefaced by the phrase "seven times. . .for your sins." This phrase is repeated fourfold, in verses 18, 21, 24, and 28. The final punishment of 7 times concludes with the curse, "I will make your cities waste. . .and I will bring the land into desolation. . .and I will scatter you among the heathen. . .and the land of your enemies shall eat you up. . . . Then shall the land enjoy her sabbaths, as long as it lieth desolate, and ye be in your enemies' land." Lev. 26:31-33, 38, 34 R2 God also provided a remedy for his curse if the Israelites were to repent of their sins and return to God and his ways. This remedy is stated in Lev. 26:40f. and also Deut. 4:49f.: "But if from thence [among the nations] thou shalt seek the Lord thy God, thou shalt find him, if thou seek him with all thy heart and with all thy soul. When thou art in tribulation, and all these things [woes] are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the Lord thy God, and shall be obedient. . .he will not forsake thee. . ." "Then will I remember my covenant with Jacob, and also my covenant with Isaac, and also my covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land. [However, t]he land also shall be left of them, and shall enjoy her sabbaths, while she lieth desolate without them; and they shall accept of the punishment of their iniquity. . ." Deut. 4:29-31; Lev. 26:42-43 R3 This curse has been and is still being fulfilled, progressively. In Book 1, 722f. BC and 588f. BC, it is shown that both the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah were progressively wasted and finally extinguished. The duration of their curse was to be for 7 times, which equal 2520 sacred years. See 1:16. The culmination of this curse has therefore taken place in modern times, "the latter days," beginning with the era of the (re)discovery of the Americas. R4 God's covenants with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob promised them three primary things: 1) "I will make of thee a great nation. . .to multiply as the stars of heaven. . .[and to] spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south"; 2) ". . .in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed"; 3) "[a]nd I will give unto thee, and to they seed after thee. . .all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." Gen. 12:2-3; 26:3-4; 28:13-14; 17:8 These are the covenants that have been and are being progressively fulfilled in the latter days. According to my understanding, their ultimate fulfillment, or at least the fulfillment of the curse, will not be concluded until ca. 2057 AD. |
Fulfillments of 7 Times |
| John and Sebastian Cabot rediscovered, landed upon, and formally claimed North America. Christopher Columbus did the same in South America in 1498. Henceforth began a division of the Earth into Old and New Worlds, 7 times/2530 sacred years* after the division of the Hebrews into the kingdoms of Israel (Joseph) and Judah in 991 BC/3037 AM. |

| The Americas are Joseph's lands: Gen. 49:26; Deut. 33:16, 17; see 1763 AD. The initial separation of the Patriarch Joseph from his brothers began in 1747 BC/2281 AM, which was exactly 3 x 252 sacred years (see 1:17) before 991 BC, and 13 x 252 sacred years before 1497 AD. *One sacred year-length was recognized throughout all of the ancient world. It consisted of precisely 360 days. The best review of the ancient use of the 360-day year is found in Immanuel Velikovsky's Worlds in Collision; New York, MacMillan, 1950: ch. 8, "The year of 360 Days," 330-59. Also see "Calendar"; Ency-clopedia of Religion and Ethics, ed. James Hastings; N.Y.: Scribner's, 1921: vol. 3. This work uses the Mayan Long Count's reckoning of sacred years/tuns [e.g., 11.13.17.0.0./1. tuns 3/12 Ahau]. The LC is the only calendar of the ancient day count that survived into modern times. |

| On June 11, 1578, Sir Humphrey Gilbert was granted a 6-year patent by England's Queen Elizabeth to explore and colonize North America. The first (failed) expedition, led by Walter Raleigh, occurred between Sept. 1578 and May 1579. Gilbert was lost at sea on another attempt in 1583. Raleigh received a new 6-year patent in May, 1584, and planted colonies on Roanoke and Croatan Islands (in what is now North Carolina) in 1585. These and a subse-quent colony in 1587 failed, although some of the settlers were taken in by natives. Another expedition in 1590, which had been held up by the Spanish Armada, found on Aug. 17 that the settlers had vanished. These were the first English attempts to colonize America. Seven times before Gilbert's expedition, the Assyrians made their first (failed) expedition against Israel in ca. 908 BC/3120 AM, King Ahab's last year. About twelve years later, ca. 896 BC/3132 AM, King Jehu of Israel paid tribute to Shalmaneser III, the same Assyrian |
| king that led the first campaign. Of Jehu's 28-year reign, it's recorded that "In those days the LORD began to cut Israel short"; i.e., sometime in the 28 years after 896 BC, Israel was not only harassed, but some of its people were permanently carried off to other lands. In sum, seven times after the first (failed) attempts by Assyria over a 12-year span to diminish Israel, the first (failed) attempts to plant and expand neo-Israel took place. Later on in the 28 years of Jehu's reign, 896-868 BC, Israel began to be permanently diminished, with some of its people taken away. Seven times afterward, within the 28-year span from 1591 to 1619 AD, neo-Israel began to be successfully planted in America. Jamestown was founded in 1607 in Virginia, and fort Nassau in 1614 in New York. In the days of Jehu's son Jehoahaz, r. 868-851 BC/3160-77 AM, ". . .the LORD delivered [Israel} into the hand of. . .Syria. . .all their days." 2 K. 13:3 Seven times later, ca. 1620-37 AD, colonies began to flourish at Plymouth and Salem, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; and elsewhere in New England.
