Sueann Ray
It is known that SueAnn arrived at the estranged husband's residence and even spoke to a friend while she was there on her cell phone. After that phone call at approximately 5:45 PM EST, nobody would see nor hear from SueAnn Ray again.
Three days later SueAnn's van was found abandoned at the Wal-mart parking lot where she was known to be earlier on that Friday night before having the van serviced. The van did not appear to be disturbed or that an abduction had possibly occured.
It would be 164 days until there was a break in the case. Acting on a tip from a GBI informant, GBI officials decended on some property near the relatives of Quinton Ray, the last person to see Sueann alive. Sueann's body was found in a shallow grave. Exactly an hour after the discovery, GBI officials arrested and charged Sueann's husband Quinton Ray with murder.
This day ended the wondering where Sueann could be. It has not ended the pain and there is no closure. Sueann's cause of death has not been released by GBI officials. Quinton Ray has another court appearance before him on April 12, 2006. We will post any information as it becomes available. Sueann is finally HOME!!!!
