We wish to celebrate Sophie's life, express our heartfelt affection and preserve our memories of our daughter
Sophie Rae.
Friday 26th of July 2002 was the most pleasant and remarkable day of our lives together so far.
As this was the day Sophie Rea came into our lives and filled our hearts.
Although born sleeping, she was everything we had wished for.
Our little Angel, our delightful and so precious eternal daughter.
Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry.
But this will get easier, we are told, as time goes by.
We believe Sophie's chosen path
Was a sunny one-way street
Where she can't turn around
And never to look back.
We ask ourselves quite frequently
Will she ever hear?
Will she ever see?
We also ask
Will we ever hear her laugh?
Will we ever see her smile?
Will we ever hear her speak?
But we're quite sure we'll never hear her cry
As Sophie will now never suffer
As she carries on along her sunny one-way street.
And our questions will eventually be answered
When we follow Sophie on her chosen path.
