They say that time will heal.
But neither time nor reason,
Will change the way we feel.
For no one knows the heartache
That lies beneath our smile.
No one knows how many times
We've broken down and cried.
I want to tell you something though,
So that there won't be any doubt,
You're so wonderful to think about
But so hard to live without!
Forgive me if I doubt you Lord, I don't know the reason why,
You have taken Lucy from us, to live with you in the sky.
You must be short of Angels, to need my sister so,
But I had so much to do with her, it was not her time to go.
I only know you lent her, to teach me how to smile,
But could I not have kept her, Just for a little while.
I will never forget her Lord, she's in my heart forever.
Look after her in Heaven Lord, till we can play together.
