| Catherine "Cathy" Taylor Born June 1st 1964 Died July 23th 1971 "A butterfly lights beside us, like a sunbeam.... and for a brief moment, it's glory and beauty belong to our world. But then it flies on again, and although we wish it could have stayed, we are so thankful to have seen it at all" |

| Cathy's Story, Written by her Aunt Connie. Catherine, "Cathy", was born June 1st 1964 with Tranposition of the Great Vessels. She was almost two when I first got to know her, because that is when I met and married her Uncle Mike. Cathy was the cutest little girl I'd ever seen. She was very petite and slightly blue around the lips and nails. But other then that she was just any other normal talkative little two year old. She could really say some very witty things to keep you laughing and melt your heart at the same time. We were really used to her tiny size until we had our daughter Jennifer. Jennifer was so much bigger then Cathy. But it's like they say,: "Sweet things come in small packages". And Cathy definately was SWEET. The summer she turned 7, she had to have some more corrective surgery. She went to Oschners in New Orleans, LA and seemed to be doing well untill the incision ruptured and from there it was all downhill. Sadly Cathy died july 23th 1971. They say there is a reason for things like death, but I have never been able to find it. I know Cathy is happy in Heaven with her Grandpa, Grandma, Uncle Kenney and our Son Eric, who died 11 months earlier. Cathy darling, we will always love and miss you. Mama & Ron, Uncle Mike & Aunt Connie, Uncle Pat & Aunt Bobbie, Uncle Jason & Aunt Arlene & all your cousins. |
