| A Message from "The Bridge" Anonymous Sorrow fills a barren space; you close your eyes and see my face and think of times I made you laugh, the love we shared, the bond we had, the special way I needed you - the friendship shared by just we two. The day's too quiet, the world seems older, the wind blows now a little colder. You gaze into the empty air and look for me, but I'm not there - I'm in heaven and I watch you, and I see the world around you too. I see little souls wearing fur, souls who bark and souls who purr born unwanted and unloved - I see all this and more above - I watch them suffer, I see them cry, I see them lost, I watch them die. I see unwanted thousands born - and when they die, nobody mourns. These little souls wearing fur (Some who bark and some who purr) are castaways who - unlike me - will never know love or security. A few short months they starve and roam, Or caged in shelters - nobody takes home. They're special too (furballs of pleasure), filled with love and each one, a treasure. My pain and suffering came to an end, so don't cry for me, my person, my friend. But think of the living - those souls with fur (some who bark and some who purr) - And though our bond can't be broken apart, make room for another in your home and your heart. |
| Tribute To Rainbow Bridge Sometimes in the darkness, They come towards the light: Just reach out and touch their heads, In the stillness of the night. They need not be alone, Til the day that we stand: Together under Rainbow Bridge, In this most precious land. Please take care of thoes who left, Before out turn to go:Sadness and pain will not follow them here, These babies we love so. It's lonely here without our kids, I miss them more each day: Life is not the same for me,Since they have gone away. I think of you each day my Friends. But this is nothing new: I thought about you yesterday, And the day before that to. I will think of you tomorrow, And until my life is through: You were someons special, And I thought the world of you. You have gone to Rainbow Bridge, And my journey isn't through: So,please wait for me there, Someday I will be with you. For now a river runs between, And I don't know how to swim: But in time I will cross Rainbow Bridge, And be with you again. It's hard to walk this road alone, Without you by my side: But there will come a day my Friends, That our worlds will not divide. But only for a little while, I will walk alone: Cause just beyond the bridge I'll find: YOU...And take you home. For all of you that didn't have, A little boy or girl: And never had a chance to be loved, In the life you had before.
