The 1957 Ferrari Testa Rossa --

Michaelangelo's famed statue of Romulus and Remus overlook my 1957 Ferrari.� For trivia buffs, Testa Rossa is Italian for "redhead" and refers to the color of the cylinder heads--not the color of the car!

Neither the car nor the statue are real.� The car model is from Burago(TM).� The statue is from some street corner souvenir dude encountered long ago during an Italian vacation.

This is one of the most beautiful 1:18 scale cars in my collection.� My recollection of the history has been lost with an old pile of Road & Track magazines.� But, there will be more...
