The Letter

This letter arrived in the mail, addressed to you. The script itself is artistic and well florished, something you might expect to see in a religious text or the Books of Law. It reads as follows:

Dear Reader,

You will note that I have not identified myself with a return address on the envelope. This because I wish to remain anonymous, at least until we can meet in person.

My sources, and believe me, they are numerous, tell me you are the sort of person I am looking for. I cannot tell you the details of what I am requesting from you, for fear of being discovered. My work is entirely lawful, I assure you, but my field is rather... competitive. Should you accept, you will be paid well, either in gold or favours, whichever you prefer.

Your traveling expenses will be fully compensated, and I have arranged transportation for your journey to the City. You will be able to find me, or further directions to me, at the tavern on Sonne Way, the East Side of the Shops.

I look forward to meeting one of your... potential. Signed,

Your Benefactor (Who Shall Remain Nameless at This Point)
