The Remedy Yourself Get Out of a Rut page. If you're stuck, here's how to get out of that boring old routine and be a little different, for a change. Read on to find out all the great ways you can spice up your life!

Please read this first.

  1. Take your routine. Now do the items in a different order.

  2. Order something different when you go out to eat. Something you haven't tried before. You may not like it, but at least you'll know.

  3. Cut your hair a little differently. Don't wear the same black pants with the same white shirt, try a different shirt. Or different shoes. Or add a colorful scarf or tie.

  4. Stop and close your eyes. Just sit and relax and wait for ideas. Then brainstorm.

  5. Instead of going to that familiar restaurant, go someplace else. Get your hair cut somewhere else. Invite a new person out to lunch.

  6. Get out those old clothes, old makeup, old books. Now make a point to use them all within the next week or month.

  7. Take the long drive home from work. Or to work. Or going anywhere.

  8. Go up to someone you don't know and introduce yourself. Make friends with that person.

  9. Listen to a different radio station. Try them all. Listen to international music or music you don't understand.

  10. Take up a new hobby or interest. Learn all you can about it. Do something completely different from anything you've done before.
