Bored? Can't think of what to do? You mean nothing sounds
interesting? Here are some ideas to get you going.
Please read this first.

Read a really great, gripping book. Funny ones are really great
because they get you interested and thinking.

Clean! This works when you're a bit angry or stressed too.
Reorganize, sweep, dust, vacuum.

Use your restless energy - work out or just start walking. Go for
a nice long refreshing walk.

Dance out your energy. Just turn on some music! You'll start to move.

If you're bored and tired, just lie down. Close your eyes and
push any stressful thoughts you have out of your mind. Meditate
by chanting a single word (peace, om, love) and let yourself relax.

If you are bored waiting in, say, a doctor's office, take the time
to write. Keep a small journal or just write on scrap paper what
the day's events were. Include vivid details and emotions and
opinions.

Get something healthy to eat. No, not the buttered microwave
popcorn or the tub of icecream. Grab a refreshing fruit, a few
graham crackers, a cup of applesauce, a glass of lemonade.

Instead of automatically switching on the tv (there's nothing on anyway), go outside and
watch nature. What are the birds doing? What sounds do you
hear?

Sing! Sing out loud all your favorite songs.
- Why are you bored? Is there something you just really want to do that you're hoping you'll get to do? Or is there something you're avoiding. Confront it - get it over with or just get to it. You'll be so glad after.

Make plans. Make a plan for the weekend, a list of things to
do or buy, ideas for the future. You might just throw out the plans at the end, but you just might kickstart yourself into doing
something useful!
