Toilets. veryone hates cleaning the toilet. But with the great tips you can read here - who knows, you might even start to like it!
Please read this first.
-
Get a bowl swab and caddie - it's fastest, plus get an acid bowl cleaner
and a pumice stone.
-
Avoid blue water and additives.
-
For hard water rings, you may need the pumice stone - with water in
the bowl, submerge the stone in water and use it like an eraser and up
under the rim. Keep it wet and it won't scratch. Use only occasionally,
if you maintain with a cleaner regularly (use cleaner once a week).
-
To clean weekly, remove water by plunging it down with the swab
(johnny mop) with about 15 plunges, to expose the ring. (Don't pour
solution into the water - it's a waste). Apply an ounce or two of cleaner
to the mop, holding it over the toilet, and apply briskly to the bowl.
The formula will foam and cling to the bowl. Let it sit for a minute then
go over it one more time. Flush the toilet and rinse, wring out mop,
then return it to the caddy. That's it!
-
Don't forget to clean the seat and tank and around the base with a basic
disinfectant cleaner.
