Multi-purpose sponges (avoid those green scrub ones which may
damage surfaces)

Rubber gloves (to protect your hands from chemicals)

Dry sponge (for paint, wall paper, brick buildup etc)

A good squeegee (a professional one for about $12 saves you lots over
cheap $6 ones)
