Male sexuality is the tool that civilization wishes to wield? So be it. But with homo sapiens, tools have a way of morphing into weapons, and gashing the hands that hold them.

How curious that the lure of the Nymph powers the ritualistic, kamikaze fervor of Islamic militants. Whether in historical garb as hashishin assassins, or in Taliban robes, the chief draw of the Islamic afterlife for males -- the "reward" behind the blood -- is sexual access to girls. Not gold, not perfect health, not universal bliss and peace. Sexual access to girls.

Classical heroes in Western mythology and literature are typically shown imprisoned by a Nymph or collective of Nymphs under guidance of an elder feminine, a Witch, a Calypso, a Circe -- a malevolent, devouring feminine aspect, who traps and binds the masculine. In spite of observable fact, modern civilization presents that adolescent females neither want nor enjoy sex. Any sexual experience -- even masturbatory -- is a vile violation.

Meanwhile, Islams fill Heaven with girls in wet panties. Fundamentalist America holds child-beauty pageants and fits out little tweenie in a "Got Candy?" tee-shirt.

The West allows female adults to engage in sex with male children, with a shrug and a wink. Penalty is denied, and no stigma attaches.

Further, as recounted in the essay �A Tale of Two Cities,� when male and female children have consensual sex, criminality adheres only to the male children. Again, penalty and stigma against any female is not even waived. It is simply ignored, as if the act had spontaneously ceased reality.

Finally, we are smugly assured that female children are superior to male children in every respect, with girls far out-pacing boys in maturity and emotional intelligence. Yet we�re supposed to buy that these same amazonian wunderkinds are sexual ignorants and innocents, while boys are perennial perps?

Yeah, sure. Wanna buy a bridge? Better get 'em while they're still up.

Stop the rape, torture and murder of children? Of course. But how? The Nymph is ALREADY sexualized. She always has been, and now the Witch's Oven is on High. Now extraordinary power has been bestowed on Western Grrrls, power unearned. Unmerited power is muy peligroso.

The question is: do we allow the Nymph to contiunue to be turned into a product, a prison, and an ideological tool? Down that road are buried children and Towers in rubble.

The strategies of modern civilization � scapegoat and punish males, upping the codifications, prison populations, and ante each year � are not only failing, but exacerbating the problem. Our strategies don't protect children, but fan the flames they pretend to douse, while Power secretly benefits. The alternation of enticement and retribution successfully creates more �monsters� -- ever more sexually inflamed, enraged, desperate and clever.

Like our national problems with Islamic �evil ones,� we attempt to demonize and stamp out what cannot be extinguished. As with the creation of bin Badboy, America engineers its own plagues.

The more that male sexuality is demonized, criminalized, and manipulated, the less stable civilization will now become. The further into hell the Scapegoat is cast, the less safe everyone is, including children.

Cultures in the West must choose. If the hysterical rush toward Zero Tolerance and female blamelessness continues, males and children will pay a horrific blood price. Eventually that blood price will return, and ravening, it will breathe smoke and fire across the land. Six thousand years of effort -- of the heroic rise of civilization -- will come crashing down. Then we'll look at one another like the fools we are, and sit weeping in the cinders, where even the tears burn.
