I am
Rema Devi Menon, IT lecturer at Insitut Bahasa Melayu Malaysia (IBMM), Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia. I have been teaching IT skills at this teacher training college since 1992. Our campus was completely networked in 2001. Recently, my students (70 of them who are KPLI students) used email facilities to communicate with me while attending the course of Teknologi Maklumat, i.e. June - Nov 2003. They submitted their assignments and I provided them with feed-back on a regular basis. (Of course some of them were not so regular because of network accessibility outside class time). Here I share some of interesting information
and findings about the use of ICT in my teaching IT class. (Will link the
file soon). My students of Dec. 2003 did a simple web site using MS
frontpage. They managed to get most of the skills within the 10 hours of
interaction with me. After this they fine-tuned their work back in school
and completed uploading their site later. Check out some of their work at my
links. Picture of my course participants of March 2004 - KPKM
