    It is hard to imagine that children in Bohol suffer from malnutrition, hunger, disease, and poor living conditions but it is true. Bohol island is a rich and blessed land yet opportunity does not smile equally to everyone. Children that suffer in poverty find themselves uniquely challenged to discover a way out, often they struggle without family support that most Filipino can count on. Because of these, they are the most vulnerable to violence and maltreatments and eventually become a victim of the cruelty not of their own making.
Insurgency effect to Children
   Insurgency in Bohol contributes nothing but dilemma to the young children living in remote and fur flung areas of Bohol. Clashes between government forces and the insurgents in these area implicts trauma to the young yet  frail condition of a child. They were so young to witness the cruelty and madness of man.
