A different drummer, maybe a different meter or just off-key

I like to do the traditional "romantic" things, the sports things (professional or participative), or the wondrous wide-eyed kid things (travel to a remote part of the globe).

Long-time hobbies: reading, photography, cooking, bicycle ride every day (my regimen), language, jazz (and rock) music, traveling, eating in good restaurants. Newer hobbies: photocomposition and digital imaging, salsa music, auto racing, (trying to) learn golf, (want to do some) writing.

• Latest music: new Rey Ruiz, first Danilo Perez album, Bobby McFerrin.
• Latest reading: If You Want to Write, Fire and Blood, Under My Skin.
• Latest vacation: 12 days in late summer at Belgian Grand Prix , auto factories and museums in Germany , and a couple of days at Lake Konstanz .

WRT spirituality, in the last few years I am much more in tune to this. And I have been presented with some reasons to believe in the verity of events like those described in The Celestine Prophecy. In this area, I consider myself, fairly evolved. I also have an interest in alternative medicine.

I am looking for friends who have ideas, ability and energy. I wish to converse with/meet those who are near or far (even Canada/Mexico does not seem far to me).
