How I Create

Faces emerge from scratches and scribbles.
Clarity emerges from confusion.
Nothing turns into something.
What I start will finish itself, if I let it.
What looks blurry will become clear.

Scribbles become words.
Words become stories.
Lines become creatures.
Creatures take life.
Objects can speak.

Some things emerge when other things are taken away.
Some scribbles still want to stay.
The meaning is in the unfolding.
The discovery is in peeling away the layers.
It can bring tears to your eyes.

Nothing is wasted.
It can all be connected.
Connections create new things.
Color enhances.
Color expresses.

Drawing feels good.
Erasing does, too.
