| Jenson Button talks about the Malaysian GP, the best and the worst point of a race weekend, missing his Mum's roast and more... Q: Jenson, what's your most embarrassing moment in F1? A: Crashing in practice, just before qualifying in 2000, at my first ever GP in Melbourne. Q: What are the first three things you pack when you go to a race? A: shoes to start with, because they're always quite important. Underwear and some training kit. It's boring, but it's true! Q: what's the best thing about the Malaysian GP? A: I really enjoy the circuit Q: And the worst thing about the track? A: It's too wide! F1 cars look too small on the Malaysian circuit. Q: If you didn't do this job, what would you do? A: I think I'd be a body painter! Or a film director. Q: what's the hardest thing about being away from home? A: Missing my Mum's roast. Q: What's the best point of a race weekend? A: The start of the race, when the lights go out. Q: And the worst? A: Coming to halt with lots of smoke out the back of the car. Q: What do you do in between races? A: In between fly-aways I go on holiday somewhere and do a lot of training. If it's in Europe I'll do a bit of testing and then spend time in Monaco training and on my boat relaxing. Q: What did you do before this race? A: I went to Port Douglas. My girlfriend came too. Q: Who do you rely on most over a race weekend? A: The mechanics. To do their job 100 per cent, which they always do |
