Episode 6: Wandering Around? The Runaway Shrine Takes a Trip!
FILIA: If we walk along this wall here, we'll get to the temple soon! Oh... Now we can take the first step towards saving the world!

AMERIA: We walked all day, but it doesn't seem any closer.
ZELGADISS: How much further is it to the temple of the Fire Dragon King?
FILIA: Hmm... Let's see... Walking day and night at full speed, about three more days.
LINA: Geh! Okay, that's it. I'm so hungry, I can't move.
AMERIA: What a continent. It's just so huge...
ZELGADISS: We just got careless because we could finally see the temple.
LINA: Forget it... I'm not walking another step, no matter what.
GOURRY: Hey, can we just camp here tonight?
LINA: Yeah... I can't bring myself to go on, so I guess we have no choice.
FILIA: What are you saying?! You were all so excited before!
LINA: That was hours ago! We don't have any strength left to go anywhere.
FILIA: But this is to save the world from the prophecized destruction!

FILIA: This town's name is Explaina, and those ruins are its chief tourist attraction. They're thousands of years old.
LINA: Leave the ruins for later! Right now, we're here for food! Food! Let's go!

LINA & GOURRY: Food! Food! Food! Food!

COOK: Um, look... I'd kinda like to close up now.
LINA (growling): Bring the rest!

(Jiras slips fruit into food)
ZELGADISS: Say, Filia. About those ruins. The style seems to suggest the Ryuzoku built them.
FILIA: That's right. But the ruins are sealed now, and no one is allowed inside them.
ZELGADISS: Sealed ruins, huh?

FILIA: Huh? Don't you dare! Saving the world from the prophecized destruction comes first! Please go to sleep soon so you can regain your strength! We'll be setting out early tomorrow! And Lina-san, are you going to eat all night?!

LINA: Well, logically, this writing must have a keyword to get you into that room, but--

LINA and ZELGADISS: Xelloss!

XELLOSS: No, these ruins are more than a thousand years old. Built with techniques and powers from tens of thousands of years ago, this represents knowledge on a level with the Claire Bible!

FILIA: Oh...! Without a Dragon's gem or magic, it was just a harmless ruin!
XELLOSS: I see! This was a transportation system used by the Ryuzoku! Well, we'll get to the temple of the Fire Dragon King immediately, won't we?
FILIA: How can you be so calm?! There are countless towns built in the path of this thing! Aah! This will be a disaster! Take responsibility, you...!
XELLOSS: Well, I'll see you all later.

LINA: Look, first we have to get off this thing!
AMERIA: Are you sure we should?

(takes out bomb)

(bomb explodes)
GRABOS: Jiras! Idiot...
LINA: Okay, we can fight you for a little while.
GOURRY: Yeah!
FILIA: We don't have time for that!
LINA and AMERIA: Fire...BALL!
GRABOS: Dwaaah!
(fireballs fizzle)
LINA and AMERIA: Huh...?
FILIA: What did you expect? All of your magic is being absorbed by the ruins! It gets converted to energy to make the ruins move! Oh!
LINA: Why didn't you say so before?!
GOURRY: Aaaaagh! My Sword of Light!
(Sword of Light fizzles)
FILIA: Anything putting out energy gets absorbed.
GRABOS: Nyehahahaha! Without your magic or that sword, you're nothing to be afraid of! We'll finish you off like a bunch of babies!
LINA: You really think so, huh?!
(punches Grabos and Jiras)
JIRAS: Aaaaaah!
GRABOS: She's strong even bare-handed!
LINA: Impressed?
FILIA: This is no time to be gloating over beating him!

FILIA: Stop! Stop! Aaaaaaah! This track goes right to the temple?! What'll we do?!
LINA: It'll take us straight to the temple. There'll be some casualties, but...
FILIA: You must be joking! We're going much faster than we should!

GOURRY: Probably because it was built so long ago.

(train hits town)

(train passes through town)
ZELGADISS: Are you all right?
AMERIA: Yeah... I think so.
GRABOS: Hey! Oh, you really went and did it before! Eh! Heheh! Looks like we both have the devil's own luck on our side!
ZELGADISS: Heh... Silence. It's been a while since I've killed someone with my sword. It's thirsty for blood!
(Wha...? Is he showing off for Ameria...?)
GRABOS: Ah! Eck! Oh! Rf! Whoa! Whoa! Hold it! Don't get so excited! Hey, Jiras! Let 'em have it!
JIRAS: Sure thing!
(throws giant bomb at Ameria)
AMERIA: AAAAYAAAH!
(giant bomb hovers in front of her...the train is going as fast as the bomb)
AMERIA: Geh...? Nngyah!
(pushes bomb to Grabos)
GRABOS: Oof! Ooh! Gyaah!
(Grabos and Jiras tumble away)
GRABOS AND JIRAS: Aaaaah!
(kaboom)
(rest of cast wakes up)
FILIA: We're still going! The temple... We're almost there! We're going to crash!
GOURRY: Hey, you're right. Wow, this is really something.
LINA: Oh, well. We've gotta stop these ruins, I guess. Isn't there some way to do it?
FILIA: Huh? Um, well, uh... Break it.
LINA: Huh?
FILIA: If we break the device which absorbs magical energy, then...
LINA: And where is that?!
FILIA: I don't know!
LINA: Keh... Okay, then! We'll destroy everything that LOOKS like it might be it. Got that!
GOURRY and AMERIA: Yeah!

LINA: And another town bites the dust...
FILIA: Would you concentrate?
VOICE: We will soon be arriving at the temple of the Fire Dragon King. Be sure to collect any items you've brought with you.
FILIA: Oh, stop it, please! This is more valuable than the treasures of every kingdom put together! Agh! We're almost to the temple!
GOURRY: Hey, we've smashed almost everything, but it doesn't look like we broke what we were looking for.
LINA: The only thing left is... Hmm... There it is!
FILIA: What? No! Not that! That is the holiest of holy objects to the Ryuzoku!
LINA: Never mind! Gourry, take it out!
GOURRY: Right! Light, come forth!
(blade is squiggly)
GOURRY: Gaaaah! Hold on a second, will you?
(starts reconnecting metal blade)
LINA: Oh, for crying out loud!
GOURRY: Aaaaaaaah!
FILIA: Oh, we'll be SO cursed now! Gah!
LINA: I think that's what's absorbing the magic!
GOURRY: ALL RIGHT!!! Geh... Ah... Um, my sword can't reach it...
LINA: Oh...! All it'd take is one fireball! Wah!
(Grabos and Jiras appear)
GRABOS: I have an idea! Why not give US the Sword of Light?
LINA: Would you shut up?! We don't have time to fight you guys!
GRABOS: Ha! This isn't gonna be like last time! Get 'em!
JIRAS: Sure thing! Hwah!
(starts throwing bombs)
LINA and AMERIA: Uwaah!
JIRAS: Hyah!
LINA: Hwaah! Oh!
FILIA: What...?
(single frame of Filia sitting in a chair, winking at viewer, dress pulled almost entirely up legs)
LINA: Darn it! Those things are as powerful as Fireballs-- That's it! Gourry!
(throws metal cylinder to Gourry)
GOURRY: Huh?
(Lina slides between Gourry's legs and makes silly face)
LINA: Come on! Come on! Over here!
JIRAS: Eh?
LINA: You don't like us, you big animal? Then come and get us! Wimp!
JIRAS: Uh...?
(single frame of Jiras being picked on as a child flashes a few times)
LINA: Animal! You big zero!
JIRAS: That does it... Heh!
(pitches bomb to Gourry)
LINA: Gourry!
GOURRY: Leave it to me!
(bats bomb at Jiras)
JIRAS: No way-- Ack!
(bomb bounces off Jiras' face and hits power source)
LINA: Yes! All right! My power's back!
FILIA: We're still moving?!
ZELGADISS: That's because of the size of this thing. We may have cut the power, but it'll keep moving on inertia for a while longer.
GRABOS: Jiras!
LINA: Okay, everyone? We've gotta get out of here!
FILIA: Get out of here? We still haven't stopped the ruins!
LINA: Filia! Turn into a dragon!
FILIA: I can't do that in front of people!
LINA: TRANSFORM!
FILIA: NO!!!
ZELGADISS and AMERIA: Ray Wing!
GOURRY: Aaaaaah!
FILIA-DRAGON: The temple! The temple!
LINA: All right! I'll stop it with one shot! Darkness beyond twilight, crimson beyond blood that flows! Buried in the flow of time... In thy great name, I pledge myself to darkness! Let all the fools who stand before us be destroyed by the power you and I possess! DRAGON SLAVE!!!
GRABOS and JIRAS: UWAAAAAAAAH!!!
ZELGADISS: Did it work?
LINA: All right! Safe by a hair!
FILIA-DRAGON: Thank goodness! Thank goodness!
(part of ruins crashes into temple)
FILIA-DRAGON: AAA-- (faints)
LINA: AAAAAH!
VOICE: Final stop: Temple of the Fire Dragon King. Temple of the Fire Dragon King.
LINA: WAAAAAAAAAH!!

AMERIA: Yeah, we're here. We're definately here...
GOURRY: I'm amazed we're still alive.
ZELGADISS: What a farce this was.
LINA: Come on, at least we made it to the temple of the Fire Dragon King! Right, Filia? C'mon, Filia!
(Filia passes out again)
XELLOSS: Oh, my! So this is how it turned out!
