| Alexandrian Tradition: This tradition was founded in England in the 1960's. The founder (Alex Sanders) referred to himself as the "king" of his Witches. The rituals are said to be motified Gardenarian. British Traditional Witch: Mix of Celtic/ Gradenarian beliefs. Their traditions come mostly from within the Farrar studies. Their covens are also co-ed. Celtic Wicca: Use of Celtic/ Driudic and Pantheon. Also, mixed with a little Gardenian, heavily stressing elements, nature, Ancient Ones, Vast knowledge, healing, magick stones, flowers, trees, elemental spirits, the little people, gnomes and fairies. Caledonii Tradition: Fromally know as the Hecatine Tradition, this denomination of the craft is Scottish on origin. It still preserves the unique festivals of the Scots. Ceremonial Witchcraft: They use a great deal of ceremonial magick in their practices. Their detailed rituals may have a little Egyptian magick. Dianic Tradition: Pinpointed by Margaret Muray in 1921 in " The Witch Cult Western Europe." This religion has a mixture of different tradition. The prime focus in the resent years is the Goddess. This has been pagged as the " feminist " movement of the Craft. Ecletic Witch: This indicates that the individual does not follow any particualar traditoin. However, Ecletic Wiccans do learn and study from many magickal systems. They mainly apply themselves to what works best. Gardenarian Tradition: This tradition was organized by Gerald Gardner in England around the 1950's. He was one of the few people who was determinded for the old ways not to die out. He was so determined that he took the risk of publicizing though media. Hereditary Witch: Someone who can trace the Craft though their family tree. It also means that they have been taught the old religion by a relative. Family Trades occasionally adopt individuals though their dynasty. Kitchen Witch: This Tradition practices by hearth and home. It deals with the practical side of the Craft, the earth, and the elements. Pictish Witchcraft: This is a form of Scottish witchcraft. It attunes itself to aspects of nature: animal, vegetable, mineral. This is a solitary Craft with little religion. Pow-Wow: This is a system and not a religion. It is based on 400-year-old Elite German magick. However, it has deterirated into simple faith healing. Satanic Witch: One cannot be a satanic witch because witches do not believe in satan. Solitary Witch: Most just desire to practice alone. There is much more about them that I cannot add because of lack of space. There is ablsolutaly no more room for me write the continuing list of the many traditions in witchcraft not even enough for my own tradition.
