ISOLATION - SELF IMPOSED

The world is threatening us that we, as a nation, will be "isolated" if
we do not do this or that thing to their liking or desire.
Before their warning materializes, it will be far better if we really go
into ISOLATION-self imposed.
 Clinton quoted Iqbal and the Holy Quran. It should make us hang our heads in shame that a third person should call our attention to these, and remind us of our own heritage. Here below is quoted Iqbal:

 Sojourn for a while on
the Hira of the Heart.
 Abandon self and flee to God.
 Strengthened by God, return to thy self
 And break the heads of the Lat and Uzza of sensuality.
By the might of Love evoke an army
Reveal thyself on the Faran of Love,
That the Lord of the Kaa'ba may show Thee favour
 And make thee the object of the text,
 "Lo, I will appoint a vicegerent on the earth."

"So turn thou away from them for a little while. And watch (how they
fare) and they soon shall see (how thou farest).
Sura Saffat:XXXV11-178,179.

Now, what does history and religion teach us ?

Considering from the religious point of view beginning with Hazrat Nuh
(PBUH), he was ordered by Allah to build an Ark and prepare himself for ISOLATION from the rest of mankind.
Then Hazrat Ibrahim son, Ismail (PBUH).
When Hazrat Yusuf (PBUH) was harassed by the ladies of the court he was ISOLATED in prison for several years.
Then the Companions of the cave betook themselves to the cave & remained there.
Our Holy Prophet Hazrat >Muhammad (PBUH) ISOLATED himself in the cave of Hira, which resulted in the guidance of mankind for all
times to come.
This is religion.
What does history teach us? There are several examples but a few should be enough to bring the point home.
The secret of Japan's success is the Meiji Restoration, which was a
SELF-IMPOSED-ISOLATION.
The Chinese, since Mao's revolution were under ISOLATION.
The Iranians remained in ISOLATION for almost two decades.
Do we need more proofs to go into SELF-ISOLATION?
Forget the world- take hold of YOURSELF!
