Black Market

Ah. I have plenty of amulets for the discerning wizard. Now this one here is a bit chipped but it used to belong to the Enchanter Of A Myriad Monkeys. One of his favourite orang-utans sold this to me shortly after the Enchanter slipped on a banana peel and broke his neck.

Enough talk! Here, in my hand I have the Magicseeker 3000 crossbow and I am protected by forty-nine spells of protection. Yes, I know you thought there were only forty-eight. Shows what you know anyway. Now, buy one of these or else:

Ring
Baggage: 1
Other Properties:
Requirements: n/a
Description: The rings are mysterious and inconstant, a puzzle wrapped in an enigma. Only after years of diligent study does a ringologist gain a glimpse into their properties. You won't find a ringologist here though. They are strange folk who hang around the wells of demon-infested towns and charge exorbitant fees based on supply, demand, foreign account deficit, the futures market, irregularities in the orbit of Venus and the quality of gherkins in Botswana.

Amulet
Baggage: 1
Other Properties:
Requirements: n/a
Description: There are only two ways to test the properties of amulets - destructive and non-destructive testing. Here we specialise in the former using hammers, boiling lava and acidic sneezes of weird monsters. If you actually want to be able to use the amulet afterwards I suggest you take it to that expensive place down the road.

The current cost of rings are: 500 gold
