24 June 2005 - Post-Mugging + Pre-Exams Effects Was reading a couple of blogs and there was this unaminous feeling of unpreparedness. Not surprisingly, there has been a noticeable frenzy among students studying in junior college, all frantically mugging for the coming block test next week.
Somehow, I almost broke down this afternoon - studying the simplest subject, Maths C. I dared to say I did a significant amount of studying, but I seemed to be making uncountable careless mistakes. My common errors included inability to do simple differentiations properly, lacked the imagination to compute probabilities correctly, and the absence of nimble fingers to press the calculator accordingly. Sometimes I wondered if I was studying too much until I went bonkers.
Anyway, this afternoon, after committing silly mistakes repeatedly, I suddenly got into a rage. (Fortunately, no one was at home - except for the soft toys looking at me.) I just felt so saturated having packed so much content in my brain these few weeks. I just wanted this whole thing to END. Thankfully, it's about to...end. One more week and it will be over.
If you asked me what I'm expecting to get for block test, I would tell I haven't thought of that question. I know my limits and capabilities and I would say an acceptable grade would be sufficient. I always believe every tutorial I did, every lecture I attended, it's not for class tests, common tests, blocks tests or whatever. It's for the A Levels. Moreover, the A Level results are INDEPENDENT (!) of the results of college tests and exams. Lol. Can't believe I threw in Maths terms..
Just a weekend left, and I planned to fully relax and lose contact with the papers as much as possible. I guess I really deserved the rest, and yes, I mean rest, not Aardwolf. (Oh, I beat someone Tic-Tac-Toe 5-0!!! (plus 6 ties) Didn't know I was so pro!)
FINAL Aardwolf Level Tally for the holidays: 115 | Total Levels: 904
