Hiya everyone!!! I see you want to know about the great mind behind this fabulous website, right? *crickets chirpping in the background* Well, that is what you came here for, isn't it" *crickets continue* Fine be that way! *mutters*
Anyway, here's the deal: I'll tell you all that I can about my self, but I don't think everyone wants to know what foods I like or what subjects I dislike, so I'm going to keep away from those kind of things. Mostly, I'll be telling you about how I got involved with Gundam Wing and a bit of history on this place.
My pen name is Lady Sapphire, or just Sapphire for short. Why is that, you ask? Well, since my birthday is in September and the birth stone for September is Sapphire, and since I am a girl, I decided to call myself just that. Also, if your wondering how I got the url "relenadpyuy", I'll explain. My favourite character in GW is Relena, "D" stands for her adopted last name "Darlian". "P" stands for her real last name "Peacecraft", and "Yuy" would be her last name when she marries Heero!(^_^!!) I am a 15 year old student who just simply adores Gundam Wing fanfiction (well any type of anime fanfiction for that matter). I love reading, surfing the net, working on this site, and of course, writing/reading fanfiction. I seem to only write about GW, although it is only one of my favourite animes,(along with Sailormoon and Cardcaptors) Sounds weird, eh? I don't know why, but the ideas for GW stories come to me easier than for SM. Maybe because the characters in GW are so unpredictable. I mean anything can happen. The couples in this show are undetermined so it's fun to write about the pairings(since I write mostly romance fics) whereas in Sailormoon, the couples are either fixed of non-existent. (But if I do write any SM fics, it would surely be set in the Silver Millenium because I just love writing about princes and princesses.) Another point might be that I've actually seen the whole Gundam Wing series, plus the OVA Endless Waltz, but Sailormoon, we're only on the SuperS series in Canada.
I'm a Pro-character person. That means I like all the characters in Gundam Wing. I'm not against anyone, therefore I do not bash. I do not write stories that bash any characters (especially Relena). I've always been taught, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all", and I intend to follow that rule. I know it might sound silly since Gundam Wing is a fictional story with fictional characters, but that's how I feel. Also, I'm not a yaoi fan either. If you are, then I'm sorry for offending anyone. I'm not anti- it, i'm just not pro- it, that's all.
I am totally Pro-Relena. I know many people hate her for some whatever reason, but I like her. I think she's cool and I disagree with the arguements that Relena-haters have against her. I'm sorry, but I just don't see any truth to what Relena-haters think of her.
I'm also a HUGE fan of the Heero and Relena pairing, (as if you didn't know!) and mostly all of the straight pairings of GW too. In fact, the HXR thing was actually the thing that got me hooked on the show in the first place! I'm serious! When YTV first aired Gundam Wing, I thought, "Oh, man! Not another one of these kind of animes! They're so boring! All they do is fight, fight, and fight! And the main characters never seem to die!" And to make things worse, I had no idea what the heck was going on! But then, there was the scene where Relena finds Heero on the beach and that instantly got me hooked. I thought it was so interesting, a girl who meets a mysterious boy who runs away, stealing an ambulance. I was at the edge of my seat, wanting to know what happens next, if they would ever meet again, and if they did how would their reaction be. Well, would you just imagine my reaction when Heero appeared in her school? And when he ripped up her invitation, saying "I'll destroy you", I was automatically in love with the show! I never missed an episode from then on, I just had to know what becomes of their relationship from then on. And then I found out that he just leaves her with a card and a teddy bear. I was like "Whaaaaa? THAT'S the ending? What kind of ending is that?" Don't get me wrong, but I thought the ending was sweet, but then I wasn't satisfied. Then I discovered fanfiction. A world where anything can happen. Of course I decided to get involved, and so the birth of Mystical Love, a place dedicated to Heero and Relena and devoted to fanfiction. So, that's the history of my site, if you're still reading this.
These are my opinions, if yours contradict what I believe, then I respect you for it, but only if you respect mine.
