there's also an aphex twin song on there, somewhere, that i forgot to list on the liner notes. whoops.
so, had the drama festival today. that zac kid's "r&s find go-dot" was downright hilarious. i also really liked "the zoo story." but, for my money, "sure thing" was the best thing all day long. not just saying that because i know rachel and j. it really was great. the best they'd ever done the skit.
walking across the parking lot to leave, i said to jen, "now i wish we would've gone on." she said the same, but, in the end, we never would've gotten it together. she's been so sick this year, i didn't wanna pressure her into doing it. i know we would've done great. oh well.
heard metallica's version of "tuesday's gone" on the ride home tonight, and it got me in a reflective mood. i think back to tenth grade, maybe the happiest time in my life, and i wonder...why aren't we like that anymore? i want the old group - jason, brian, fallon, lindsay, amber, rachel, jen. i want that show back, i want to go back to then, the coolest cast i've ever worked with. i want mere and vanessa and josh all in the organization at once. i want the old group back, i want everyone in gspa to be friends again...or at least on speaking terms.
...
argh.
lately, i've been addicted to college radio. i pick up wfnm out of franklin and marshall college, and it's great. reggae, bob dylan, neil young, tom petty, weezer, jimmy eat world - the coolest station i've ever heard. if you live in the area, check out 89.1.
i'm tired. these last three weeks or so have been too damn long. oh well. four day weekend after tomorrow, baby. i'm gonna hit the sack.
