twas a good day.
spent it mostly with abbi, as was the plan.
jason and i did indeed go into the studio, and hung black curtains to start with. looks nice as a background for the anchors shot. after that, i worked on a quicky sports opening. nice.
then, i picked up abbi, and brought her back to my place.
we mostly cold lamped. i showed her some of rushmore. i don't think she found it that funny, but, hey. no one's perfect.
she logged onto the site for the first time. seemed impressed. i think she was sorta scared or something. haha. she said she didn't feel right about reading it. felt like she was looking into my brain, which should be kept private.
i tell her i'm not totally truthful.
but i think i'm somewhat close to it.
oh well.
she signed the guest book.
after that, we headed out to berkshire and got some pizza. i saw josh swavley, stacey zocco and her boyfriend.
my childhood days were filled with dreams of going into an eb shop and being able to buy a video game with a girl at my side. i guess every geek hopes to one day offset his geekdom with a cool, pretty chick.
anyway, that dream came true today, when i purchased max payne with abbi.
she also loaned me ten bucks so i could buy a copy of cowboy bebop on video. i'm a friggin' geek, and she doesn't care.
i love that girl, i swear.
right now, i'm sitting on the sofa, taking deep breathes, because i can still smell her there.
sorta.
i'm pathetic.
but, hey, she said she does it with me too.
smells her clothes after i'm gone, i mean.
and, she'll be gone through the new year's at her dad's, so i need to stock up on my fill of her.
so, anyway, here it is a friday night, every known person at my school is out partying or some such fucking shit, and i'm sitting at my computer monitor.
just talked to my mom. i told her installing the game on the comp screwed up the sound - which it did.
she yells at me from 100 miles away.
i hang up.
i eventually got the sound working, by the way. just had to re-start the comp, like, seven times.
time six: "no way it'll work this time."
time seven: "ok, maybe just ONE more time."
success.
what else?
argh. i don't know. vacation grows shorter by the day. i guess that's how vacations work.
i've still got calculus homework to do. i've still got english homework to do.
i work tomorrow and sunday.
but, monday and tuesday are open, so i guess i'll knock 'em out then.
i found out jen's probably going to be away from mike over new year's, so maybe i'll check and see if she wants to chill for a while.
of course, with my luck, mike will stay home anyway, and i'll be lonely on christmas eve.
sigh.
