1772: Born: December 28, 1772

1810: Joined Sardis Baptist Church, Rayle, GA: 1810 (listed as Patsy Tramel, Records of Sardis Baptist Church)

1811: Married Joshua Davis: January 11, 1811 (Joshua Davis' parents, William Davis and Agnes Lanier Davis were already members.) (Wilkes County marriage certificate.)

1813: Thomas Trammel (Patsy Trammel's father) marries Elizabeth Furman, April 25, 1813. (This is his second wife.) (Marriage certificate.)

1813: Woodard Tramel (Patsy Trammell's brother) marries Rebecah S. Smith, March 17, 1813 (Marriage certificate.)

1821: Thomas Trammell dies. Will signed March 28, 1821, and probated June 4, 1821, specifies: "All property to be sold by January 1, except slaves Scott, Isaac, Allen and Lonza and my curtained bed, which I have this day given my two youngest daughters Susannah and Elizabeth Trammell, daughters of my late wife Elizabeth, dec'd, and $2000. Residue to be divided between my three oldest children, Polly Darden, Woodward Trammell and Patsy Davis. Joshua Davis, Thos. Wootten and Jas. Echols, Excrs." (From Early Records of Georgia, Volume One, Wilkes County, by Grace Gillam Davidson, p. 156, "Wills", p 54.) Actual will assigns the slaves and $2000 to the two young girls "or their guardian." Probated June 4, 1821.

1821: "TRAMMELL, SUSAN and Elizabeth, minors. Jos. Alexander, gdn. Paid for letters of guardianship, making coffin for both, Boarding Susan Trammell and her nurse from June 5 to July 2, 1821. To boarding and nursing Elizabeth Trammell from June 4 to July 27, 1821, she being extremely sick for 37 days." (Davidson, "Returns" p. 168.)

1822: "TRAMMELL, THOMAS, dec'd. est. Jas. Echols, excr. Money received from sale, 1822." (Davidson, "Returns" p. 301.)

1823: "TRAMMELL, THOMAS, dec'd. orphans to Jos. Alexander gnd. Paid D.G. Campbell for services in prosecuting a negro boy for the murder of one of the orphs and trouble to secure witnesses against [Woodward] Trammell in the Inferior Court, March 5, 1823." (Davidson, "Returns" p. 396.)

1823: "TRAMMELL, THOMAS dec'd. est. Receipt of Joshua Davis in full of his share of said estate and of Elizabeth Trammell's est. and of Thos. Trammell's legacy in the est. of Geo. Thompson, dec'd, as collected by Jas. Echols, excr, all signed 1823. Receipt of Jos. Alexander, gdn of Susan and Elizabeth Trammell for services in bringing to justice a negro Isaac for the murder of the orphans and an inquiry into the case against [Woodward] Trammell for murder March 3, 1823. Affidavit of John Fraiser before Leonard Sims, J.P. Lincoln Co., 'That he heard Nathaniel Bailey in the fall of 1821 say that there was no doubt but what Trammell was guilty of murder, or was instrumental in poisoning the two children for which the negro boy was then in jail condemned to hang, and that he thought said [Woodward] Trammell ought to be hung and would be if he could be got." Feb. 12, 1823.'
"Note. Susan and Elizabeth Trammell were daughters of Thomas, apparently children of his second wife. They were poisoned by their half brother Woodward Trammell who was hung for the crime." (Davidson, pp 300-301.)

1823: "TRAMMELL, WOODWARD. 'I Woodward Trammell of state and county aforesaid now in the common jail of said county under sentence of death on the 16th May next, but of sound and disposing mind,' etc. To wife Rebecca Sessoms Trammell all estate for life, final division to my lawful heirs, viz, Vicena Sessoms Trammell, Rebecca Ann Trammell, and Oncy Garner Trammell. Wife, John Johns and John Favor, Excrs. Signed April 8, 1823. Probated July 7, 1823. (Davidson. p. 157. "Wills" p. 135.)

1823: Patsy Trammell Davis excommunicated from Sardis Baptist Church (church records):
