Cutting Board
Bird Feeder
This cutting board is made of 1" maple with 1" cherry dovetail splines.  There are 1"legs that are dovetailed in.  I just apply cooking oil to add a luster finish.  The purpose of the spines is to prevent the joints from pulling apart.
The birdfeeder is made from ordinary 1/2 in plywood.  The base I made from one inch cedar.  The sides and upper roof are cedar shakes. The lower roof is cover in copper. It rides on a 3/4" pipe that allows for the base to slide down for loading.
Quarters Map of United States
Checker Board
Map of the United States for the State quarters.  Each state has a slot for a quarter from the two mints that make them (Philadelphia & Denver).  The components consist of two sheets of quarter inch oak plywood for the back, 1/4" Maple for the states and border, encased with a removable 1/4" plexiglass sheet and an oak frame.
This checker board was made with 3/4" Maple for the squares and 3/4" oak for the border.
