STORY TIME

Here are a few of my favorite Carolene stories:

One morning Carolene had a rather "unlady-like," gaseous emission.  She jumped and looked at her rear, as if to say, "what are you doing?"  Then she got up and started sniffing at the floor as if the floor had done it.  So funny!  Trying to pass it off on the floor, nice try Carolene!

Today I left Carolene loose in the house while I went to school.  When I returned everything Carolene owns, toys, pillows, etc., were out in the middle of the floor.  That was fine.  They are her things.  The odd thing was that the TV was on, and I hadn't left the TV on.  The remote was lying in the middle of Carolene's pile of toys and had a few scratches on it.  I guess she's a bit of a couch potatoe!  Oh and what was she watching?  A show on CNN about the Republican primary.  I guess she's a political buff.

Carolene likes to make up her own games.  One of her favorites is "Tag Cookie."  Cookie is a stuffed animal, but we're not sure exactly what kind of animal.  Carolene will place Cookie at one end of the living room and then run in circles around the coffee table and "tag" Cookie as she runs by it.  Hence the name of the game!
Her newest game is "Scatter the Ice."  Can you guess the gist of the game?  I fill a bowl with ice and Carolene attacks it.  Throwing ice cubes this way and that and running like a mad woman the entire time.  Kill, Kill, Kill!  That darn ice shouldn't be in that bowl!  It won't do that again!

Today was Carolene's first trip to the beach.  I took her to Key Biscayne.  I didn't think she was quite old enough for the South Beach scene, although she has seen topless women before!  She was a little leary of the water at first, but when she saw Mom going in, she soon followed.  She would run up and down the shoreline biting at the waves.  We played fetch, and she would even swim into the water to retreive the stick.  She had a blast.  She is truely a Miami dog!
