| In 1999 a revolutionary movie hit theatres in the United States. The movie was the "MATRIX." Shrouded in mystery and intrigue "What is the Matrix?" was the question on everyone's mind. To be honest the first time I saw this movie I thought it sucked! I had heard all the HYPE and so naturally when I saw it for the first time it fell flat. I think this was for a few reasons... 1) The Matrix was NOT what I expected. 2) How can any movie live up to all the hype that was asscoaited with it. 3) So much happens so quickly in the Matrix that you really need to see it a few times in order to digest it. |
| I mean come on...the movie had Keanu Reeves (formerly Ted "Theodore" Logan ) in it, how good can it be? Plus I kept thinking..."What is the world was just a giant holodeck?" Gee how many times have I seen THIS episode of Star Trek? It was only after all the hype died down that I saw the Matrix again and realized what a truly great movie I had overlooked. Now that I am a TRUE fan of the movie and an avid costumer I decided to combine the two. Here are some sneak peaks at my NEO costume that I plan to wear at Dragon Con 2002! It is hard to see some of the details b/c everything is black but you get the idea.... |
