Story:
Jang Woo Hyuk also know as Woo or Hyukkie is the fresh faced pretty boy with a really wild streak, He lets very few people know why he's really attending the school in Japan. Though if asked, he'll tell.
When living in his native Seoul Korea he was in a gang with his bestfriend Moon Hee Jun. One night a few members of a rival gang cornered Woo not to far from his home and proceeded to beat him up. Jun was walking home, the same night (he only lived a few blocks from Woo) and found Woo with the other guys he called out to get their attention but a bigger member grabbed Jun and threw him to the floor, beating him and forcing Woo to watch. When their backs were turned, Woo grabbed his gun that had fallen to the floor in the fight. He screamed out to the guy that was holding Jun and without a thought shot the guy in the head, just barely missing Jun's head.
Jun and Woo fled the scene back to Jun's house where the two confessed their "hidden love" for each other. Jun admitted wanting to get out of the gang and advised they both leave to join friends in Hong Kong. Woo told Jun he wouldn't leave his family and told Jun to go to Hong Kong and "save himself" from the gang. Jun made Woo promise he would still love him when he returned and Woo, in turn, made Jun promise to come back and get him.
Days later Jun moved away to Hong Kong and news of Woo's involvment in the gang fight circluated around their town and neighborhood. Since Woo's parents are very well off and know several police and government officals Woo was let off, as Woo states "they don't kick up too much dirt when it's a nasty gang member known for doing bad stuff that's died." But his parents thought it was best to send him away incase the rival gang decided to come after him.
Soon after coming to the school in Japan (Reject High) Woo met several new friends all with wild stories of their own, some worse than his. He's now settled into his room, he semi-offically shares a room with his new boyfriend Tony with whom Woo shares a rather strange but loving relationship with, and one of his many dogs from home, Chow.
And after so many years Moon Hee Jun has walked BACK into Woo's life, throwing the boy back into a state of confusion.
Stuck between his new life and his past life..
Though despite his problems and what he's been through Woo remains friendly and loyal. He never lets his money situation become a factor in how he treats people, always offering money out to those that need it, to him lending a friend thousands for a ring is nothing and takes the blame for the missing money when he is questioned by his parents and brothers.
Woo still has fond memories of his home in Korea and loves his family (mother, fathers and 3 older brothers) very much. He loves visiting his home and playing with his dogs.
