Living Arrangements: He lives in the students building of Reject High and shares a room offically with Kim.
Story:
Jae as most people call him or "the babysitter" to the many fathers of Reject High , Jae is a caring young man despite the horrors that led him to his new home.
As a very pretty young man, growing up in Kumi, a smallish city in South Korea, Jae was picked up almost immediately by the modeling business he was offered deals on the spot. He started earning well into the 100s and 1,000s when things at home took a turn for the worse.
Jae is the youngest brother of 8 sisters, he tends to be a bit more feminie than most of the guys at Reject High, still he has that sexy, boyish quality to him but he's rather tender on the inside. All his sisters moved away from home at a younger age, some moving in with Jae's grandmother where Jae spent most of his free time anyway. After work he would go to his grandmother's and spend time with his sisters and neices. But fun was a fleeting feeling for Jae and being the only boy and being the only one still living at home made him a target for his very greedy and very angry parents.
Once Jae's parents heard how much Jae was making they let themselves fall into deep debt, not paying their rent or bills and his father even stopped working. They started guilting Jae into paying for them to live. This caused alot of fighting and his parents became very unhappy with each other, with Jae and with themselves. They took to stealing from Jae and selling whatever possesions he owned and beating him if he dared talk back, look at them wrong or question them.
Jae took refuge in his grandmother who, despite seeing the bruises his way of life with his parents had given him, often told him she refused to take him in because a son's place was to take care of his parents and he was the ONLY son. His sisters took pity on him but there was nothing they could do for their baby brother other than feed him on the occasions they got to see him, which became less and less because of his parents.
The beatings got so bad Jae could no longer work as a model but his agent gave him money out of his own pocket, thinking of Jae as a son and knowing things would be worse if the boy went home without any money for his parents.
Soon his parents decided they were moving to Seoul and Jae refused to leave, not wanting to be further away from the safety of his sisters, grandmother and his dear friends, a fight broke out and his father beat him so bad he broke Jae's arm, throwing whatever they could in the car and shoving the boy in the backseat, broken arm and all. They later took him to a hospital in Seoul and left him there. The only person that showed and stayied with him was his agent. When Jae was released the doctor scolded Jae's parents for not being there for him and telling them that Jae's agent had come to visit which only made for another beating when they got home.
On a trip to Japan one month, Jae attended a Food Eating Compition and met Kobayashi and the two spent numerous days of Jae's trip together causing Jae to quickly fall for the boy. He was heartbroken when they had to leave to go back home. Kobayashi told Jae not to worry, he traveled around all over and who knew, he could one day be in Korea.
A few weeks later when the family was fully settled into their new house in Seoul, Jae's parents were feeling a great finicial strain. Jae couldn't work and they didn't want to. His father was forced to get a job. Jae's body was broken and bruised and his will to go on was diminishing the only comfort was his friends Yunho who Jae'd always had a little crush on. Yunho would sneak into Jae's bedroom window and stay up talking to Jae, often holding the boy till he cried himself to sleep. Jae thought about killing himself but decided that was too dishonorable for him to do.
After a fight one night that lead to a large bruise on Jae's face, Jae's parents packed up his stuff (what little clothes and cds he still managed to hold on to) and sent him off to a school in Japan because they didn't want to deal with him anymore. Jae was there for only a few days before meeting his current boyfriend Bi and only a month or so later his friends from Korea came to visit and never left. Jae spends most of his time between spending time with Bi, spending time with his friends, watching the children of Hisashi and Kim as well as Bi's baby brother and finding time to spend alone with Kobe at his house.
