Story:
Daisuke, or Die as many of his friends call him, stands at 5'8 with shocking red hair. He often dresses to match his mood, anywhere from punk/raver/skater to gothy/fetish wear, but whatever he wears he's comfortable. He grew up in the beautiful and calm mountains of Mie Japan. But his homelife was anything but beautiful and calm. His father a business man and his mother the model housewife they forced their perfections onto their only son, seeing the death of his unborn brother as a sign they were to spend all their time and efforts making Die as perfect as they saw fit.
Die was a very active child, playing sports and excelling in his studies especially in History and his study of English, but that wasn't enough for his parents. They made him take piano lessons with his uncle after schools and on weekends.
Die hated to go to his piano lessons, his uncle would beat him and torture him when he messed up. Burning him with cigarettes, smacking him in the head or locking him in a closet or worse. If Die cried of showed any sign of pain or weakness to his uncle the punishment got worse so Die learned at an early age to swallow all he felt.
His uncle would get drunk when he thought lessons were "over" and sit and tell Die how it was his fault his brother died and that his parents hated him for it and that he had to punish Die for his parents and punish him for killing his brother.
At the age of 15, Die would often wonder why his parents never caught on to his bruises or scars but he figured it was because he playied alot of football. On Die's 15th birthday he was sent to his uncle's house as usual (Not even escaping punishment even on his birthday) He took his spot at the piano as his uncle started. Whether Die messed up on purpose or not is his secret but what happened after that wasn't. His uncle grabbed Die's arm with the intent to burn him, when Die stood up and punched him in the face, breaking his nose. His uncle fought back, provoking Die to further release his rage by beating his uncle with his bare hands, slamming his head on the floor and finally knocking his uncle out. ...satisfied, Die waited for his parents on the couch, drinking his first ever beer. When his parents arrived they proceeded to call the police and turn their son in. Eventually everything cooled down after Die spent 2 months in a boy's detention center.
Die took up guitar upon his release from the center, his relationship with his parents, strained and broken and could never be repaired. His father blamed him for embaressing the family and his mother blamed herself for not knowing. ..Finally when the strain and silence was too much Die's parents packed him and his guitar into the car and drove him to the school. There were no tearful goodbyes and no words of encouragement. They simply let him out of the car and left.
Although despite why he was sent to Reject High, he does not see it as a bad thing. He's met great teachers and people and is learning more and more how to play guitar and shares a dorm with the man he now vows his love to, Kaoru, a fellow student and guitarist.
Die believes highly in fate...could this all be fate?
