Her I�m with Heli Rahkema from Tallinn, in the background is Lasnamaa. Heli has finished a degree in history and is now a teacher in an Estonian gymnasium.
In the center of Tallinn in Raejakoda plats (The city hall square). Through the centuries Tallinn was always called Reval, which was named by the Germans. But the natives talked about the city as Tallinn or Taani Linn, which means the city of the Danes, they Danes ruled the city in the 13th century.

Here is some view of the garden of Katrin the great in Tallinn. Katrin and Peter the great used to give each other great presents, wagon of gold amongst them. One of the gift Peter gave his beloved was a marvelous park in one of their important city in the Baltics: Tallinn. Katrin used to go there frequently and spent the summers there!
The president�s palace is guarded each minute of the year!

Every 5 years the majority of Estonians gather around in this area to sing, an event called the singing revolution, they started it in the 80�s when they were still under Soviet rule!
