Hmm.
I think I may abandon silver text on black background, for onedimensional v.0.4.
Because while the /site/ may be Monochrome Dreamings, although to tell the truth it's actually faintly slate blue Dreamings, right now, the blog isn't /really/ part of the site. Well, sort of.
And shallowness can also be a form of art in technicolour.
But silver on black is such a /comfortable/ scheme, and I'm scared of anything else, because I have no colour sense whatsoever... X.x And I don't even really know what I /want/ for the next layout, since the picture isn't cooperating very well. Meh.

So.
One day, or maybe two, after getting into the fandom in a screamingly girlish way, (Sa-to-shi-/kun/! Dai-su-ke-chan! Dark! XD) I am writing fanfic.
Actually, maybe it's same-day. Because I actually started this yesterday after reading through my manga again, tried to go to sleep, then decided to heck with it and grabbed notebookness and started writing.
So. Five/ten pages of crappy cliche DNAngel 'fic, depending on what you count a page as, and I've /only/ just finished up to the point where he lets a whiny Dark take over. During class. Silly, silly Daisuke.
...I am such a pathetic fangirl. Oh well, my notebook's small, at least. One quarter letterpad/A4 size paper.
Thanks to Arielle, the rant on kissing I referred to down there. That metaphor makes sense, and I think it's cute, cliche or no. I guess breathing into your partner's face might be odd, but then when you need air, you need air. Or something. *pikupiku*

...Oh, heck. I don't do kiss scenes well. *counts* I think I've only done, in my entire life... ah... four? Two S&S, that SO2 thing down there, and the HE one. Can't recall if they kissed in the Valentine's Day version. At least I would only have used that 'breaking off for air' thing once.
I haven't a clue how to do a thing with this, to remove bad cliche. And breaking off because Bou-chan's /hungry/ would be /such/ an unromantic thing to do... In character, maybe. But muy unromantic.
Shut up, Bou-chan. You can't deny that it's in character. Or unromantic, for that matter.
Come to think of it, /all/ my scenes where characters go into the physical are cliched and badly overflowerized. Bah.

I read a little rant against authors making characters break off kisses due to asphyxiation problems. "They have noses," it said, muchly paraphrased, and I'm not /quite/ sure where I read it because I've been doing rather extensive surfing, and it was a little whiles back, "Use them. If their mouths are occupied, they can /breathe/ through their /nose/."
And that made sense. Truly, it did, and since I can't speak from experience, does anybody who's ever french-kissed before feel like telling me whether oxygen is a pressing need?
So I eyed the White Day ficlet, and felt guilty, while Bou-chan and You-kun went *niko* at the back of my head, because they were having /fun/, engaged in that liplock, /yes/.
But then if I let them continue kissing for very long, that would probably degenerate into something else that I am not even going to touch, and there's still a couple more pages of drippy sapness that I have to go through before they can do that.
So.
Bou-chan and You-kun /do/ have noses.
They just forgot.
And I really should work on that ficlet. Which I am /so/ not putting up anywhere. I've already embarrassed myself with that Star Ocean 2 fanfic thing down there, which makes a great deal more sense if you take it in context of Aine-chan's 'fic, which she should post.

Because Aine-chan is EVIL and she had to LEAVE OFF right before the GOOD PART and says that she got STUCK because she can't write lime but I have examples to prove otherwise and because sex is always a good way to move things along and because she just HAD to point out that whole "relieving stress/pressure" line in the manga and because this might nigh be the only chance for Ashton to EVER be the seme...
There is this thing called the creative fade to black. I think, in old romance novels, it translates to the little "****"s that sex takes place between.
Utilize it.

Claude said flatly, backing up a step--which caused him to bump into the tree behind him, and since crawling to the side with his back pressed against the huge oak like that would look /really/ stupid, and since the last thing he wanted to do was take his eyes off Ashton--or rather, the dragons in Ashton's body--and since another of the last things that he wanted to do was to turn tail and run while Dias was watching, he stayed put.
Which might have been a bad idea, he reflected the next second, since Ashton--the /dragons/--was still walking closer with that predatory gaze and a slow, rhythmic step.
"How perceptive," the swordsmage said. "What tipped you off?"
"If you think you're in character, your analysis of Ashton is sadly off."
It was odd, to see Ashton's face smirking like that, dark and seductive and so self-satisfied. His voice was odd, too--husky and lazily drawling, so unlike Ashton's perpetual uncertainty--
"Is it? And how do you know that Ashton doesn't /want/ to do this, as hopelessly repressed as he is?"
"..."
Claude's attempts at formulating a suitable reply gave way to blank shock as a warm mouth pressed firmly against his own.
"You know," the mazoku purred, "Fighting isn't the /only/ way to relieve pressure..."

And now, random typage up of stuffness written in notebook while on the plane. I didn't get to work on the 'fic because my mother was sitting right next to me, in case you're interested. :p

I ate airplane food. Someone please pump my stomach. All right, so it wasn't /that/ bad, but it's the principle of the thing, okay?
The cheesecake had, for some reason, potato peel in it. Maybe I missed something in the line of breakthrough cuisine, and this is some legendary potato and cheese affair, but potato peels belong on /potatoes/, and not in my dessert.
At least, I'm /assuming/ that it's potato peel, as seeing that it tasted, had the general consistency of, and the bit I examined /looked/ like potato peel. It could as likely be the emasculated remains of some unfortunate insect caught in the wrong time and place.
As long as it looked like potato peel.
I drank milk, too. 12ml of it. Meant for putting in tea, really, or coffee, if that's the way you swing.
Now, I normally wouldn't even touch the stuff, since it tastes like... well, milk. Which is, as the Bad Candy people pointed out, liquid you squeeze out of a cow's breasts, and willingly drink. Uh.
Although I still drink flavoured milk. Which doesn't taste like milk. Its origins, however, still remain the same.
And Singapore is a beautiful city from above, at night.
And yes, there really WAS potato peel in the cheesecake. I'm still wondering about it. I'm also wondering why I /ate/ it, because I don't, as a general rule, like cheesecake. :p

Because my teacher sucked, and I was delinquent. In fact, I'm /still/ delinquent this year, but my teacher nai suck, so I can DO A Math. Which is a good thing, except I failed my last Integration test, which was my fault and bleh, Integration hates me and I have to revise. :p

Kai-chan, it depends on the type of wine you drink. I don't really like red wine, but they sell a very nice fruit wine or something at J8 with a pathetic alchohol content. 0.5% or something. It's nice. If you can come over sometime, I'll see if kaa-chan will buy me a bottle...
But yes, beer is nasty. Have you tried oxidised beer? XD My chemistry teacher told us to do that as a chemistry experiment. Get a can of beer, open it, try it, then leave it in the open for a couple of hours and then try it again. All in the name of science, of course.
