Name: Yoh Asakura
Age: 13
Spirit: Amidamaru
Yoh is very lazy. I mean really lazy. Luckily he has Anna to motivate (torture) him. His personal spirit is Amidamaru, a samurai ghost. His best friend is Manta Oyamada. He thinks everyone has alittle good in them, and tries to help people, even when it puts him in danger himself. His first name means "leaf".

Shaman: Yoh
Back in the Muromachi era, Amidamaru was known as "The Fiend" for his swordsman skills. When he died he waited for 600 years on Funbari Hill for his friend, Mosuke. When Bokuto no Ryu and his gang desecrated his grave, Yoh helped him out and they became partners. He's sort of a spaz in my eyes, for being "The Fiend".

Name: Manta Oyamada
Age: 13
Manta is a freakishly smart kid who met Yoh in the cemetary and thought he was crazy talking to himself, until he saw Yoh's "friends". These friends happen to be ghosts. He always carries around a dictionary, and is scared of Anna. Doesn't have a sprit, but he can see ghosts.

Name: Jun Tao
Age: 17
Spirit: Lee Bailong
Jun is Ren's older sister. She is a Dao-Shi, a corpse hearder, and controls dead bodies with talismans. She fought Yoh to gain Amidamaru for Ren, but Yoh ripped the talisman off Bailong's head. Bailong tries to kill her but Yoh saves her, making her believe that spirits are people not just tools. She stops using talismans once Bailong gains control of his body again. The best character EVER!
