The HeroÕs Journey Creative Writing
Assignment:
Write a
narrative short story (of at least 300 words) or poem telling the story of a
hero--real or imagined, known or createdÑcontaining at least the first four
elements of the heroÕs journey, taken from class notes. You may tell the story in first person,
from the heroÕs point of view, if you like. Be sure to proofread your writing to be sure that it is
mechanically clean.
