| The Society for Creative Anachronisms is a non-profit organization that reenacts the pre-seventeenth century Western culture, mostly that of the European middle ages and renaissance periods. Everyone works hard to recreate the skills and arts of that era. Some study the interaction between Europe, Asia and the Middle East. We creatively take the best of that era and recreate it in our modern day, thus a creative anachronism. The Knowne World is divided into "kingdoms" of the SCA. We are located in the Kingdom of Northshield. There are also kingdoms in other countries such as Canada, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Eastern Asia. There are many trades in the SCA, such as the arts martial, equestrian, archery, throwing weapons, merchanting, cooking, heraldry, vintning, weaving, dressmaking and much more. My name is Lady Reina Gunnora, Clan of the White Stag. I am a member of the local group, The Shire of Falcon's Keep. Our territory covers the Wisconsin counties of Marathon, Portage and Wood. I hold the office of Webminister in our Shire. A Webminister produces and maintains the internet website for the group. I've been participating in the SCA for approximately 9 years now and I love it. I am involved in Archery, Merchanting, Garbmaking, Cooking, and Weaving. We participate in local events and also a few others throughout the Kingdom.
